This role is responsible for driving continuous improvement across our production processes, optimizing manufacturing workflows, and partnering closely with the Production team to increase efficiency, quality, and throughput. Success in this position requires strong analytical skills, hands-on process knowledge, and the ability to collaborate across departments to solve complex operational challenges.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with the Electronic Technicians through analyzing First Pass Yield (FPY) data to investigate and identify root causes and failure modes
- Have a command of PCB handling, inspection, electro-static standards (e.g. IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001) and provide feedback to the design team
- Cross-functional collaboration working with electrical engineers, production managers, and quality control to integrate mechanical systems with electronic assemblies
- Assist with capital investment planning related to process or equipment upgrades.
- Complete other duties as assigned or required.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong electronics experience with Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) and Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) manufacturing along with board level troubleshooting
- Proficiency with PCB layout software such as Altium is a plus
- Knowledge of electronic components (value, polarity, placement) and IPC/J-STD standards
- Experience with pick-and-place, reflow, and inspection equipment including flying probe testing (FPT), solder reflow, Automated Optical Inspection (AOI), and Ball Grid Array (BGA) X-ray inspection methods
- Experience with capital equipment selection and justification a plus
