VPI seeks a talented and dedicated Accounting Clerk/Receptionist to handle accounts payable transactions and other miscellaneous administrative activities.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience
  • 1+ years of accounting and finance experience
  • High School Diploma
  • Must be a US Citizen eligible for US Security Clearance
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
  • Excellent administration skills

  • Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Great attention to detail
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity

  • Experience working in a team-oriented atmosphere
  • High degree of professionalism and maturity with ability to work independently, problem solve, and make decisions with limited supervision

  • Exercise good judgment, keeping in mind company policies and procedures
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
  • Receptionist experience
  • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
JOB Responsibilities
  • Accounting duties –
    • Pulling and matching vendor invoices to packing slips
    • Enter accounts payable invoices
    • Reconcile credit card statements
    • Employee expense reports
    • Preparing vendor checks for mailing
  • Receptionist duties –
    • Answering phones and greeting customers and vendors
    • Organize, clean and stock breakroom
    • Manage and order office supplies 
    • Support company activities and meetings
    • Make catering arrangements
    • Run company errands
    • Manage incoming mail
    • Filing
  • Provide clerical and administrative support as needed
