Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified HVAC Technician to join our team in Sweetwater, Texas. The HVAC Technician will install, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for our facilities.

We are looking for a qualified HVAC Technician to join our team in Sweetwater, Texas. The HVAC Technician will install, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for our facilities.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Install new HVAC units in commercial, industrial and other buildings as necessary
- Install ductwork and thermostats to control HVAC systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC units to ensure proper operation
- Inspect and troubleshoot problems with existing HVAC units
- Assist in maintaining inventory for replacement parts and order replacements
- Comply with company and industry safety standards
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Excellent analytical, logical and problem-solving skills
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment
- Ability to safety use power and hand tools
- Ability to use thermostats, pressure gauges and other testing devices to evaluate HVAC systems
- Ability to read operation and repair manuals for HVAC systems
- Ability to follow instructions
- Excellent mechanical skills
- Organizational skills and attention to detail a must
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Vocational / technical school training or apprenticeship preferred
- At least (2) one year of related work experience required
- EPA Section 608 Technician Certification preferred
- Physically able to work on HVAC units
- Will be required to work in settings with extreme cold or extreme heat, depending on time of year
- Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling or climbing ladders
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time
